Udo Waibel brings years of leadership experience in the technical engineering industry.
St. Louis, MO – Nov. 19 2018 – Omnigo Software, a leading provider of public safety, incident and security management solutions for law enforcement, education, healthcare and other enterprise markets, has appointed engineering leader and innovator, Udo Waibel, to its board of directors. As the newest member to the board, Mr. Waibel’s technical engineering and leadership background will provide vital insight as Omnigo continues to grow its product offerings and expand into various industries. Mr. Waibel’s appointment follows Omnigo’s recent appointment of Dr. Nadia Schadlow to its board, reinforcing the company’s rapid growth and commitment to innovation in the public safety industry.

Mr. Waibel currently serves as the executive vice president of engineering at Sitecore, a customer experience management company that provides web content management and multichannel marketing automation software. In this capacity, Mr. Waibel leads the company’s engineering teams in the development of solutions while driving improvement and focus on quality, reliability, ease-of-use, security, and customer satisfaction.
Prior to his role at Sitecore, Mr. Waibel served as Chief Technical Officer at International Decision Systems (IDS). At IDS, he drove the product engineering team to stabilize existing customer implementations, significantly reduce product defects, and establish modern and agile engineering practices to enable a greater focus on innovation.
Before IDS, he served as the Chief Technical Officer and SVP of Products at Heat Software. Mr. Waibel has also held CTO and engineering leadership positions at cloud software startup Hara and SAP. He is a graduate of University of Mannheim in Germany.
